first change title from N46 to N64 you don't want to make a portable n46 right?

Four rules of thumb: 1) wire as per the guides / pinouts on this forum as you know they work; 2) check everything with multimeter before you turn system on; making sure no wiring connects to adjacent connections where it shouldn't - this is critical, 3)make sure all wiring is secure and not loose and fit for purpose, 4) if there are any boards liable to touch each other or metal that they are protected by electrical tape and wires you have had to extend are protected inside shrink tubing - stops shorts.

You've got a lot done so far. Good job. :) The case always takes the longest, though.

Everything looks ok to me! Two of the pictures didn't show up for me, though. But I think you have everything right, it all looks fine. Just to be sure double check your wiring against the pinouts we have here.

I want your camera O.o

My pics are not nearly as revealing. When I take pics of my electrical work, everyone will say, yes, sir, you have done well with abstract art.

so are you saying that I cant/shouldnt use electrical tape to cover the places where i extended wires or that shrink tubing is the way to go

cause I dont think I have shrink tubing on hand and i would rather not buy some if I have electrical tape

oh, and the funny thing is, thats not even my camera, lol, mine wouldnt even show the stuff in these pics, but i grabbed a friends cam and it had an up-close setting

You can use electrical tape but the problem is that it unravels after a while, potentially exposing the wiring and therefore possibly a short. You can use it, but use some hot glue on the tape end to seal it down properly; this stops it unravelling. Shrink tubing is excellent however.

one is fine, they're both connected.
