ok, i took the power jack off the ps1 and i need to connect it to the battery so i can charge the battery, but i dont know where the + and - go on the yellow input

Can anyone verify this? I'm going off of memory.
If you have the original power adapter, it will tell you. Or, if you have a multimeter you can see which one is - or "ground". Do you know how to do that?

thats pretty much the standard convention.
if your grounds are connected, it is likely that it does not matter. if you have current issues, you may need multiple ground connections or lower gauge wire.
