Ps2 wiring question

Hey guys i'm new here but i had a question. I have three fat ps2s, i want to hard wire my wireless network adapter to my ps2. so heres my question would it work if i wired it to the powerboard power plugin or would it take power away from the system? I travel a lot and always take 1 of my ps2s with me (big socom fan) anyways i get tired of carrying my network adapter with me but i got to have it to play online.so would this work?

Try it!
It couldn't draw THAT much power, it should be fine.
