A question for modding PSPs...

How much does it take for you to understand that your ideas don't work based on already available knowledge? Why don't I just go grab a normal DVD, shave it down so that it fits exactly into the UMD drive, and see if that works? Hell, why don't I go all out, shave a record into the size of a CD and see if my walkman will play that. They'd be the same size, I can't see any reason it wouldn't work? Hey I know, let's stuff a Snes cart into an N64 cart, that MUST work, right?BoomBox-Creations wrote:has any one here that is saying it wont work actually tried it or even seen it done?
if so, i would like to see it.
We wouldn't have to do this if you just listened to what we say, maybe did a little research into what you want to do before coming here and insisting that it'll work just because you think it will. We shouldn't have to baby you, but if that's how you want it, fine.

ZOMG!! I just figured out how to hack ANY game system to run homebrew!Bibin wrote:
First, get Dr. Mario for GB.
Next, put it in the game system.
Turn on the game system.
Run Homebrew!
^The only flaw is that you might need to take it back out to put in another disc, but I can use my mind powers to transfer the homebrew with MTP (Mind Transfer Protocol.)^
Edit:
HOLY CRAP! THIS IS AMAZING! THE HACK STILL WORKS AFTER YOU TAKE Dr. Mario BACK OUT! THE SYSTEM DOESN'T EVEN NEED POWER!
i stink at making siggies

Well, i cant believe im saying this, but if you are, good luck...palmertech wrote:I am actually going to try this.
No, seriously, I am.
Boombox has no idea what he is talking about, or how he would accomplish this, but in theory, the idea may be workable, only a 20nm difference in laser freq., I have seen more variance with really cheap generic DVDs than that.
