I hate it.
It looked so much cleaner and more professional before.
Photoshop is obviously not your forté, and I think it's best to leave that to someone else, if you want a logo.
I think the giant blue PS logo is downright garish, and doesn't match the color scheme at all.
Can it be undone?

I don't think it's a bad looking logo. It ends up taking away from the clean look of the portable (i.e. logo is large, colorful, and the black looks like you traced it haphazardly with a sharpy). But I'm no photoshop pro, so it's pretty cool.
It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man.

I love the logo. I don't like the black outline sadly, and the text could have been softened a bit to blend into the blue a bit better. I don't think I could have done better in taking away some of the blandness that I know would undoubtedly have existed without a logo on the back.
Still, loads better than I could have done. Heck, I couldn't even Christmas-ify my own avatar.

Interesting, opinions getting split...
The background logo wasn't one I made up, when Googling for images, found this one (logo made up to include the four button shapes):

I made the colours lighter, (I didn't want black shades for this, and blue is a nice colour and in the PS logo scheme) then put on the text and the PS logo to replace the "p" from the text.
I thought just having "Into-Play" on the back would look understated, so I wanted a logo; modifying an existing official one seemed sensible.
I like the look of what I have done; it is only on the back of the system after all, the logo will not be on the front. If I want to remove it I can, although it will involve sanding and re-painting, which is no big deal. I can decide on that later in the project.
In the interim, before final decision, I am touching up the black edging to make it smoother and better; that will make it look nicer.
I had thought the material (khaag suggested it) was clear backed or separated in water; didn't. The new stock I have bought is supposed to be clear, if it isn't I may have to forgo text on the case front.
If you want to buy my cases, you can paint your case whatever colour or colours you want, single or dual tone; with or without decals, logo etc; to make it personalized. Just because I do it one way doesn't mean you have to too!!

The sharpie part is probably the worst, not the clean work I'm used from you.

Agreed, on reflection. Will do better (ahem)!!
The sticky came off fine, however I have decided to make a new backing plate anyway; the existing one isn't a perfect shape in relation to the case; also, having the inner circle inside it makes the plastic relatively heavy (double thick), which means that although the magnets hold the plastic plate in place fine, if the assembly was lighter, they would hold stronger still. Two good reasons to make it again - no great shakes, will do it on Monday. I will still keep the black inside and cream outside, like that contrast (as you see on the back case shell, looks nice).
As well as ordering the new decal sheets last night, which claim to become transparent when varnishing them; I have also ordered a far more expensive A4 sheet of completely clear waterslide inkjet decal sheet, which needs a bit more work done but will definitely be clear. Between this sheet, the ones last night and the original ones, I have spent over £20 on trying to get the decals done, so far!
Never mind, it's only money - this is my hobby after all!
If all this ends up being a further dead end, might have to make my own stencils, but this is last resort.
Not often I give into peer pressure, but I am on this project; so I will re-do the part concerned - hope you like it. Being near Xmas now though, might take a few days for the new decal sheets to arrive though.
