ahhh, but is the screen OLED?
Yes, that is an advantage indeed, but it is also a mixed blessing. While OLED screens may be brighter, they die faster. I prefer durability, as I plan to use the pandora quite a while.

It's not that I hate the wiz, if it may come across like that, I honestly considered buying one, but I'm definitely getting a pandora and in comparison it's really just a weaker machine with no analog controls or keyboard, that has the advantage of being smaller.

If a good individual scene for it builds up, I may get one later one, but for now I'm only getting a pandora.

I wish it was possible too, but the GBA simply lacks the power. A skilled dev might be able to pull it off, but most of them have moved on to the PSP/DS/Gp2X scene. :(
No genesis emulator was ever released for the GBA for those reasons; betas did not exist either. It was never done.

Incorrect. Reesy made a quick port of drMD from the gp32 as a POC.

It was released only to the members of the exclusive gp32x club, the slipzone.
I bring justice to its avoiders, and pain to its resistors.

I use to run SNES emulator on my GBA, but the lag and slow speed is unbearable, even for a massive SNES fan.

I'm guessing the Mega Drive (Genesis) would be just as bad.

PSP and DS are fine for emulation though.

I reckon get a Sega Nomad, and be the envy of all your friends!

Edit: I wired up an original snes controller to my DS Lite, and it really does make playing the SNES games that much more enoyable.
I am a case modder trying to be a portablizer. Will get there one day. :)

a mega bump on this, stealth from the sonicretro board made a perfect port of sonic 1 the gba, so it is quite possible to do it for other games, if anyone is willing to take the time that is.

i know that isnt emulation.

He did that with a disassembly of the ROM to get compiling source code - this could theoretically be done again with the other disassembled games, but it would be a pain.
