Xtremecast - Handheld Dreamcast

Post by techknott »

Finished, apart from a couple of minor things.

Need to put some plexiglass in the corners for some fancy power led's and maybe cut a new piece of alu for the right hand side as ive bodged it up a bit around the buttons. Other than that nothing that will change the appearance. Cant do it as i dont have the stuff yet.

My house was burgled too so no youtube vid as of yet unfortunately. Should get a new camcorder soon with a bit of luck.

So here we are then.

That's great! I'm glad the DC has been getting more popularity on the portables scene.

That's excellent. I like how it has the real DC triggers, I never liked the 3rd party kind.

Thanks for the comments guys. Dont think ill be doing gamecube next, maybe PS2 after swapping out the screen on the wvi, the quality of the one thats in is really poor.

Plus I dont have any cubes here. I have an Xbox to portablize, although i might leave that till last as its going to be pretty tough.

All my future portables now are going to have widescreens too I think.

On another note, if anyone knows anywhere in the UK that sells batteries and protection circuits etc, id be very happy to hear where?

I need some protection circuits and batteryspace want an insane $80 to ship a single unit!!!

that looks fantastic. It looks like your first vacuum formed case turned out beautifully, and I like the silver borders they look pretty classy on it.

Wonderful, as I pictured it. The best DC portable thus far! (No offense to sonic4freedom, his case is just so incredible! Yours is still great)
