This portable will most likely be for sale when I finally call it finished, though it will probably cost a little more than some others due to excellent build quality and such.

The first ZN-40 N64 Portable COMPLETE - PICS ON PG 2
Yeah, this thread is a few months late
.Way back when Brian started his first zn-40 snes, I was working on a Nintendo 64 portable in the same case. As of now, there have been a few popping up here and there, but none as sweet as the first (hehe). It has been basically finished for a few months now and it is one of the things that didn't get destroyed recently.
I quit working on it about 3 weeks before the portable competition. I could call it done as is, but I plan on painting it differently and actually putting the rest of the screws in before I post pics and stuff.
No pictures for now, but I wanted to at least make a topic to put pics in later. I have quite a few pics of the build (not nearly as many as I wanted) but don't have time to upload anything right now.

We'll see.

No offence, but, I laughed when I saw the title.
So, is it real this time?

Real this time? I never falsely said I had one?
Well, I put the final coat of paint on last night and couldn't see very well and got WAY too much on part of it, so I have to sand that down some and paint again, then reassemble and it will be ready for the camera.
For now, all you get is a pic of the back, the top, and the bottom. I may or may not include controller ports and AV input/output.

Oh, really? I thought there were a couple around I guess. I knew SS made one in a zn-45, but I thought there were a couple in zn-40s. Mine has stuff on the back, so it is not ALL stuffed in just the zn-40. It would be possible, but you'd have to do a lot of trimming on parts.

Well, not to hijack your thread but mine in indeed almost done. I just keep frying n64s. I'll post a couple pic in here for you all to see. Mine however is all inside the case (not the cart slot). I am just frustrated with it, because I am having may issues soldering the j-pak onto it. So, I am just going to make my own (with some 51ohm resisters and the cap that were on a board).
So, here is a couple pics....

So, that is basically all I gotta do.... to FINISH the first zn-40 portable!
