Anyone know if there is a premade cable made to connect a stock HDD to the stock HDD Mobo port? Or of a place to get the connectors for each side?
A cable that combines the SATA Data and power into one cable to connect the two ports shown below. I want to use my stock HDD on a case mod I'm working on. I want to be able to switch HDDs easily.

A little confusing?
In one question what is it that you want?
I also have an Xbox 360 to HD cable if you want it
EIDT:Yep, I have one
Not, I can sell it to anyone if they want
Also, yes you can probably do this, you just need to make sure there is no power going to it, or find a switch that can connect 44 things
on and off

I was looking for a cable to plug this...vskid wrote:You want to be able to plug the stock HD in, but not right to the motherboard, right? You could desolder the connector off the motherboard and move it to where you want it. I think that the only place you could get those connectors is off of other 360s and HDs.

directly into this...

But on to Plan B. I make my own. Probably using cable/connector from broken hard drive and transfer cable or connector off a broken 360 mobo(if I can get one cheap.)
