Well I've heard you guys praise this thing far and wide and just wondered where you get it and what kind i need to get some to make the rest of my case for my gamecube.

Walmart! You can get a pint sized container for a few bucks. Its in the auto section near the waxes, touchup paint and bedliners

Just bought me some to fix my damn fender lol

I prefer epoxy putty for hard, structural stuff (any brand will do) and bondo spot putty for touch up. I get mine from WalMart in the automotive section. It's kind of pricey, but worth it for projects of our kind.

Yeah, bondo is not meant to be used in thick structural applications. It'll shrink, crack, etc. Any plastic body filler would work, but Bondo is the brand name, and it's fairly common. Even my local Home Depot has the stuff. Auto supply stores too, obviously.

We use this stuff called fiberglass repair putty. It goes on thick and dries supper hard. I haven't tried it on a portable of anything but it can fix up boats in a jiffy.

my favorite was the bondo brand marine epoxy stick, but my walmart stopped carrying it... i started getting this stuff called perma poxy, but i hate it. the stuff i'm using for my contest piece is actually mighty putty, as seen on tv! lol! all it is is epoxy stick. but i got 3 sticks for free, so i couldn't resist.

What I do is hold all the pieces of the case together using masking tape on the front. Then, I use epoxy to fill in the cracks from the back! It makes the front almost perfect straight from the beginning, so hardly any sanding is neeede. I just fill in the last few little indentations with spot putty, and shazam! Works great, epoxy (The liquid 90 minuter cure kind, NOT 5 minute cure) is incredibly strong. Hard to work with, but gives great results.

...weird, thats exactly how my transision was. :S Mighty Putty isn't the best though.. doesn't stick to plastic as well and chips easy. But I was able to attach it to a Retro Duo cart slot (those dinky ones) and drill holes in the mightyputty to put some screws through it, and it worked just fine and held very well

i had this problem at first too... figured out that i wasn't mixing it together well enough. i would knead it between my fingers till it's almost a solid color. i would notice tho, that it would be crumbly half the time, and not wanting to stick to itself. so, after i would get it almost 1 color, i started rolling it into a ball in the palm of my hands. after doing that, it was good and sticky and a solid color. would stick to the plastic amazingly well.

what i do for structural things is my special mixture of LIQUID ABS plastic, its just shavings of abs disolved in acetone and it doesnt just stick parts together like epoxy does it fuses the seperate peices of plastic in to one single piece making it MUCH more structurally sound and solid than epoxy would. bondo is only used for cosmetics (smoothing shaping etc) and i use bondo spot putty

That liquid ABS thing...seems really interesting...I might have to try it out some day...
