Which model to use
Well I recently came into a ps1 screen and am either looking at using it in either a ps2 portable or snes portable and since I would rather widscreen a ps2 I'm thinking snes. I was just wondering which model i should use he old fatty the newer version a snes on a chip. Also how hard is a slot rewiring cause with my design in mind like a gameboy i would need to do that.

I'd recommend going for a Retro Duo. The compatibility is pretty good, and unlike an actual SNES, it's several small boards connected by ribbon cable. You don't need the NES part to run it, and the boards are small enough that you might just be able to move them instead of relocating the entire cartridge slot.
