World of Warcraft again..

Post by Nonsense Man »

Well this is the second or third WoW thread I think but I decided to make a new one instead of bumping an old one. So who around here still plays. I'm currently playing Hodder my rogue Armory Link. Also I like the guild launch signatures but their annoying to update. Also I have a question about semi high level stuff. I just got my first gemmable item do I have to use gems that match that color or is that only for the bonus?

Yes. You have to use color matches. Red Or Yellow can do in to red slots, and yellow or blue can go into blue slots.

I played but my computer was being a butt and I kept getting disconnected from server errors everytime I tried to log in, and the Haelp Boards for WOW didn't help, so I said screw it all I had was a trial account anyway. I have since got a 360. 360 is way better than WOW anyday :D

Check my sig or either of my two characters that I currently play on.

Ihuntjoofoo (42 Troll Hunter - Cat as Pet)
Harshboy (19 BE Rogue - Twink-In-Progress)

On a 10 day free trial I got a level 27 and a level 19...amazing right?

It was a scroll of resurrection free trial. There isn't any limits on those 10 day trials (You can trade and do everything as normal)

Harshboy your twink is ok right now I would go with the WSG necklace instead of yours. Also the blackened defias armor from DM is better than what you have. If your afraid of leveling get a high level to clear every thing out other than VC run into VC's cave and die and then the high level kills him you get no xp just loot. Once you get some money get a higher level to put either Clefthide Leg Armor or Nethercleft Leg Armor on your pants. Lastly a +100 health enchant would be the best for your chestpiece. If you want to talk more about it come on AIM once in a while.

Yea I know that my "twink" needs work. It wasn't really planned to be a twink at all until I wanted to make a Hunter.

I might just make a new character and this time prepare for being a twink instead of deciding it when I'm like level 17.

And I know some of the equipped items aren't the best.

I've put most of my focus on my hunter, but for the last week I've been on vacation so I haven't leveled him at all. I just want to get to level 50 within 2 weeks before school starts and I'm 1 bar from 43.

I play on good old Blackhand.

I think some of the changes they made recently really suck. Like getting mounts at level 30, problem is what's the point of the druid's travel form then? There are fewer world elites, no fun there. And oddly enough people on the horde side still thing they need people to power-level/train them to get higher levels.

Not that I complain that much in or about the game, I enjoy running my hunter. Who's 67, and has 3 pieces of the Merciless Gladiator set, woot! I just hate dumb or annoying people.

If any of you guys want to start a character on Blackhand, whisper or look for Calfer or Lactos. I'm usually on one of them. And I can help you if you need it.

I am an on-again off-again player, barely holding interest in the game as it stands. When I do play, I play as Burgermister, a lvl 60 Human Paladin on Undermine. I have no contingent armor, and a lack of sufficient playtime :)

Hmm Sparkfist I may roll up a character on your server eventually. But right now I'm working on my rogue. I dont know what I would roll. I haven't tried the BE starting area yet maybe a BE paladin.

A BE is a very good PvP character, their Mana tap and Torrent are devastating to any caster. A friend of mine is working on a BE hunter for the sole purpose of whipping the floor with one of his friend's mage.

And unless you've rolled a pally before, you're in for an adventure. They make running a split tree druid easy. And believe me going between nuking and healing is not fun or easy.

Paladins are kinda gay when you fight them (or at least when you fight a good one.)

They will fight as normal until they have like 10% HP then they bubble and heal and then keep fighting maybe getting another heal in and before you know it it is like 10-15 minutes into a fight.

Paladins are built to outlast the opponent, so drain their damn mana as fast as possible so they cant bubble and heal (Ex: Use Viper Sting when they have about 40% HP because it will screw them out of healing themselves because they will still focus on melee attacks or spells)

I think that hunters are one of the most devastating classes. Noob players can't even touch the hunter before they get killed because of pet and stings, and with Concussive shots and that shot that is like fear but for like 4 seconds you can run and gain distance. Track invisible and flare makes it easier to fight rogues but rogues and hunters are both hard to each other. As a rogue I find it easy to fight hunters, but as a hunter I find is hard to fight rogues.

Fun Fact:
Hunters are the most played class and are always being flamed for being too powerful.

It seems that all anybody considers these days is PvP. What ever happened to good old Dungeon-storming fun? Well, WotLK comes out sooner or later, that will refocus some gameplay...

It died when Arena started. Season 4 gear is better then Tier 6, and it has resilliance making you harder to do damage to. I personally would love to get one of my toons to the point where I can fight Illadin, mainly because a quest reward gives you a Nether drake, and that's likely far easier then building rep to get one.

I will say this I have considered talking people into making a 10 man raid party and running AQ with all 70s. You wont get crap for gear, but you know it's the idea of it. Like killing Arugal in SFK in less then 4 minutes.
