Ever since the "news" part of the site things have gone boring.
I think I know why. People always post their portables there. So the only big updates to the site that are fun and make you look aroudn.......are now contained in one big topic! Down with the news!

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. :P

Maybe it's because the majority people don't even make progress past half of a case. I think the News forums prove an interesting point though; portable creation has decreased four-fold.

I think we should have a competition of a certain portable. Give a time frame, have everyone judge and the winner gets a cookie and some pi. As well as a special title. w00t! rock on for cookies! I bet that would be kick ass. I would definitely rake up some cash and participate. Unless is was like hardcore competitive - It would just be for fun. I think it would be a lot of fun and I think it would bring more excitement to the community that is us Benheck.com/forums members. Seriously though, I think it would be worth trying or at least brainstorming. Maybe have a certain time frame to prepare(get cash, buy stuff, etc) and then a certain time frame to actually build it (a decent length, but nothing crazy) and then your stuff has to be in within a certain week. Then set up a poll in the news page and have everyone vote. Winner could win.... "A BRAND NEW CAARR!!" ....or something.

Not many people on this forum are serious modding, so doubt this would mount to anything. You make a mod and spend the money and time on doing so because you want the end result, not because someone wants to persuade others to make them in a "friendly competition".

Anyway, you know what mine look like! They will all slot into the same screen and control system so will look similar!

I never knew about this "controller contest." :? That must have went on during one of my lapses from the forums. (I wonder if anyone notices when I'm not here for 6 months...) Triton, that wing-grip "SNES64" controller is amazing! :D How does it feel in your hands? Hehheh... that sounded dirty...
