Error in NES by hand chapter

Post by benheck »

One of the figures is missing some indicators. This was likely missed in the final art checking or something. For the fix, check out the new link on the book's main page at:

Remember if you come across something fishy, let me know as I have all the original files/photos to check against.

There was an error on pg 153 in the book, and that new pic corrects that mistake.

Yeah, the things labeled b, f, g, h, and i. In the book they're gone.

Yeah, strangely they DIDN'T redraw the artwork/indicators on the photos I sent, but they DID redraw the vector line AI files I submitted. ?????

And thus, yes, there are some errors. It seems the big error that I saw in proofing was this one (in the NES hand built chapter) so now that it's been addressed hopefully everything else is OK.

there's one thing on page 484 that's just a nitpick. the pic says "Back (writing)" when I think you ment to say "wiring" becuase underneath the pic it says "wiring (back)"

Due to an email being missed (or some last minute thing) I had exactly ONE DAY to proof the entire book, and those of you who've seen it know how big it is.

I was pretty sure I noted everything (that could be corrected) but it was so tight that somethings were already underway before they could be corrected.

Hopefully if there's more printings (?) those things will be correct.
