Team Fortress 2 Update

I don't know if there's any other hardcore tf2 fans, but the pyro updates come out on Friday at 11 am, along with 2 new maps.

The new guns looks sweet as heck.

Im surprised valve is releasing so many new maps.
Goldrush was amazing.
And these ones will be amazing too.
With CSS they released the basic maps and then mods just created every new one, but with tf2 valve is giving the fans a steady stream of new content, and it's really nice.
Plus, another free weekend starting friday at a 11 as well.
So if you haven't played, you can play for free!

Except the maps aren't new, nor are they made by Valve.

And yes, I am a f***ing hardcore TF2 fan.

Supposedly, the update is coming out today. But coming out Friday in sync with the Free Weekend does in fact make more sense.

A while ago I got the Orange Box for portal and Episode 2. Just today I tryed TF2 on a friends recommendation and Its amazing. So far my favorite class is the engineer and ive already logged 3 hours on it. I'm kind of excited about the pyro updates.

I got all the new weapons within 3 hours.
They were a lot easier to get than the medic achievements.

(I was kind of hoping for a small group because my TF2 experience is limited to exploring the levels solo. Not quite ready for prime time.)

Ok how the crap did you get all 3 unlocks in 3 hours? I have been at it for 2 days and have 5 achievements.

Their are achievement servers some are very well set up and others just end up being chaotic. Just go to the custom matches tab and look for a map thats something like achievementbox and the title will normally be something about pyros.

yeah me and my pal just helped each other get them.
maybe it wasnt the way valve intended it
but its just bs some of the achievements they have
i actually think the new weapons are screwing up the game
like..its so difficult to switch to the new weapons..u have to click escape..go into charac options...then equip it..it takes so long that theyre useless in game b.c there are spots where u need the old wepons as well as the new.
i feel obligated to play with the new weapons though..but truthfully i really dont like em. after i got the pyro ones...i really didnt play that class that much..just was a soldier and owned all the nubs on the free weekend
