How do I locate possible fuse fix?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

How do I locate possible fuse fix?

Post by Cyberblade »

I'm working with an Audiovox VBPEX56 5.6" LCD. Not quite the standard pocket TV or PSOne LCD that most people work with around here, so there's not much information for me to go by directly.

I performed the LED mod and tested it with everything apart first, it worked like a charm. I got a bit excited in putting it together and shorted out something. Upon calming myself, and making sure it won't short again with electrical tape and hot glue, I've found that although the entire unit powers on, including LED's, I am getting no display picture.

I believe that this LCD like most will have a fuse somewhere that I can jump to get the LCD working again, but I have no idea as to how I am supposed to locate that. Any tips or suggestions as to identify this fuse? Thanks for the help. ^^
