Is there anything that she would let you spend it on? If so, get as much out as possible to "buy" that, and then buy the PS3 (or buy the thing if she makes you, then get a refund).

Those types of things typically don't work out.

Why are you and your mother sharing an account? I can understand you having her name on your account because you're underaged, but she's a big girl, and should have her own finances. If things are getting so out of hand, then talk to your father, and see about opening an account in a different bank, try for one that doesn't need validation for withdrawals, only for opening the account.

Ask your mom why she doesn't want to let you have a PS3, nobody should be taken away from owning one of those beasts

He just meant that the flute is a far better investment. And there are a lot more jobs that you could get paid for playing the flute than playing a PS3.

Edit: Muahhaa. She said yes. Im getting my PS3 on Monday.

From either Blockbuster or Futureshop.

I hope futureshop as I get like 2 free games with it, and a HD cable..

While blockbuster, gets me no games and no HD cable.

Nope. Cuz he edited his past thread. I saw it. He basically worked his a** off. Like I told him too. Not sure if anybody else gave the same advice.

Yea, I edited my post. It was long and has some spelling errors.

I basically: Painted my room, Begged, Asked a lot of times, did A LOT of chores, fertilized the lawn, mowed the lawn, washed car. I also brought up the fact that she threw away like 6 of my game systems, so I need a console to fill the void and such.

She finally cracked and said yes.

It wasnt a "maybe" or a "We'll see". It was a "Alright. I'll let you get the $500 for the PS3 and bring you to futureshop (if she gets a chance. If not, I'll have to wait or go to blockbuster) so you can buy it."

Some of your guys' tips actually worked

Also, Frank. I know Im lucky as I have a 360, wii and ps3. BUT you have that cat in your avatar. I bet it likes to play games :3 Like attack j00. My cat got like, given away a month ago.

A friend of mine had all 3 as of this past Christmas when he acquired his PS3, he got a Wii last summer, and has had a 360 for like year and a half to 2 years.

All I know is that the 360 had a bunch of garbage titles besides Oblivion at the time he got his.

I only have a Wii atm, probably get a 360 this summer, and won't get a PS3 until the full game of GT5 comes out. (Gran Turismo is the reason I bought a PSone, and PS2)
