Its been slow for me the last few days. The worst part is when you first get on, it takes several minutes to load the forum main page, but the pages after that load at an ok speed (I open all the unread topics in new tabs, so the first one is usually loaded by the time I finish opening the links).

I do the same, with the same results. But the site seems pretty snappy right now.

You think that a single handed controller wouldn't cause so much uproar.

Ditto. And it seems to really have sped up now.

This thread took me about 500 seconds to load, according to the Fasterfox page load timer, but it still thought it was loading something after 1050 seconds as well... apparently, the pages actually NEVER load fully.

What kind of bandwidth does this site take up? Can't we get a new server? :(

This page just now "truly" finished loading after 217.422 seconds. Image

I haven't been able to get on much for the past few days. It keeps loading, but nothing ever happens. When I do get on, it's extremely slow.

To the best of my memory, the speed of the site tanked when Ben switched to a "better" hosting service. I don't remember what was wrong with the previous host (there WAS something wrong), but nothing's worked right since then.
