FS: Broken iPod

Post by shmagoogin77 »

This is a broken iPod that had a "very low battery" message displayed on the screen so i tried to replace the battery. I am not sure if the problem was the battery or not because in the process i broke the tiny battery connector so i never got to actually charge the new battery. Also while trying to replace the battery i cut the hold button "wire" and busted that up too. It has almost no scratches on the back plate or the front cover and it was about 2 years old.
I will post pics if anyone is interested

PICS:
on the left is the used battery and its condition is unknown, on the right is the new battery from ifixit.com

You can see that the orange cable coming for the hold switch is split in two

That thing on the back is the reflection of a light bulb holder in my room, dont worry
Image

And the front is almost in perfect condition, the iPod user kept his iPod in a case for almost 2 years, thats why it still in such good shape (cases annoy the hell out of me)

Could you take a close up of where the connector broke off?

If I am interested, would you trade for a GP2X?
