nes hand bulit screen

do i have to mod the screen for the nes handbuilt?
do i need white leds or do i just need to bypass a fuse or two

What brand screen do you have? Whatever brand it is, you'd better mod it since it'll save a you a huge amount of power. Use white leds around 10000mcd.

You don't have to LED mod a screen, it's just recommended because it will make your batteries last a whole lot longer. But, if you like it the way it is and don't mind a short battery life, then don't worry about it.
