But I don't have a 360 (But my friend does), and Oblivion is awesome; so, get that one.

The best game I've seen that shows off the 360's graphics is Gears of War, which has a decent story too. Bioshock looks amazing too. I haven't played Oblivion (I didn't like Morrowind, so I didn't both for the sequel), but I'm working on my third playthrough on Mass Effect. While I agree it has its flaws (inventory and some repetitiveness) I enjoy seeing the different ways you can handle situations. It's still fairly linear, compared to what I've heard about Oblivion, but I really enjoy it.

Okay, you guys have convinced me to get Live.
I'll be picking up that and Halo 3 (again) this afternoon. With that in mind, what game would you say I should get now? At the moment, my vote goes to Bioshock; I completely legitimately borrowed Oblivion for PC, and though it's good, it's not really hooked me yet... Perhaps Mass Effect will? Or maybe Call of Duty 4 now that I have Live? Any new suggestions?

If you liked KOTOR like i did you will get instantly get hooked to Mass Effect. Urdnot Wrex has to be the coolest mercenary lizard alien ever.
The game was kinda on the short side IF you don't do any of the side quests. Oh and Oblivion is so much different then Morrowind, they basically improved on everything that was effed up with Morrowind in Oblivion.
