It's going to sound like a flashback to the 90's for a little bit, but it gets better.

- Super Metroid
- Super GameBoy with Wario Land (Mario Land 3) and The Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening
- Wireless Messiah SNES Controllers (which will come in tomorrow, hopefully)
- Mario Party DS (it's meh, I still like it for WHEN I POOP LOLZ)
- A box of Skittles and Starburst, the kinds you'd find at the store, along with Pretzels
- Wheels Covers
- A certificate to get my car stereo installed (hopefully tomorrow)

And the family got a Wii with four Wiimotes, but I'm gunna wait until everyone is asleep so I can play Mario Galaxy and actually get myself into the game; all day it's been fighting and female of the dog species from the kids on who's playing what and blah... Just general kid crap.

I'm 18, it's 2007, and my Christmas highlight is Super Metroid. :?

So my Dad won't get me an eee for Hanukkah... I guess I'll have to settle for Rock Band, but I wanted Rock Band anyway, so I still win.

The only person here who strikes me as being spoiled is Harshboy; I mean, c'mon. An Elite + 7 $60 games + Live + $300 cash? WTF?

I was not even expecting to get most of what I got for Christmas.

My New MP3 Player Rocks. It's vast improvement over my last MP3 Player.

I don't believe saying someone is spoiled based on gifts is a fair statement...
If in someone's case, their family makes twice the money your family makes, doesn't it make sense to spend twice as much on gifts (or in HarshBoy's case, five times as much)?
Still, even family status doesn't matter, is my @#$* hole of a community, some kids could make twice the value of what HarshBoy got in one day.

Boo hoo, I'm poor and envious of the people that got more presents than me.

I'm sure that his parents didn't spend all their money on him, just a ratio, probably one of the same size that your family spent on you. If this is not true, no one cares - Harshboy was not bragging, simply appending to the conversation.

Nice load, Harshboy!

Whose standards? How many are "many" standards? Who's to say the gift values are about the same when you scale for savings, credit limit, and income? I agree that everyone should be grateful to have what they do but I've only seen maybe 1 or 2 vaguely disappointed posts... Where did that come from?

Besides, what's more important: being with your family or a bunch of stuff?

Jeez it's not like they bought him a Maserati or something...

tiny letters are fun! wheee!
