If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.
I got one for christmas two years ago. And it's the only other newer game system I have other than a first version gba. So I am not going to mod it's screen for a while.
Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality?
you call that newer? and my guess is the controller chip and lcd driver (probaly just composite to rgb converter) are in the system the roms and noac are in the carts
Does anyone have any pictures of the guts of this thing? Also, how good is the screen. I read a thread over at atariage.com and they said it wasn't so great.
But mostly pictures please. Or at the very least dimensions of the guts.

From what I gather, no model, other than perhaps the orginal poster's vgPocket Max, has that screen. All others report what seems to be a raw LCD, and is what is in my vgPocket Caplet.
