I like science fiction, fantasy, and cyberpunk.

EDIT: @Nonsense Man: Yes, and the newest one was total crap. The other 4 rule though.

I like books :D

Nothing can beat a good horror book  Stephen King rocks, but sorry Triton, never got into the Dark Tower much. All his oldest stuff is great though, especially when he wrote under his penname of Richard Bachman.

If you want military fiction, Tom Clancy is the way to go. I'm currently reading Red Storm Rising by him, its a very good book. Hunt For Red October is good, too. Be warned, they are fairly advanced books (like a ton harder than Artemis Fowl), so if Artemis Fowl is in the higher range of your reading level, you might want to wait a couple years.

The Artemis Fowl series is pretty good, I've only read the first three, though.

My highest reading level is not artemis fowl not to sound like a ass but when I was tested for AR i received a 10th grade reading level. And I have read many more books that are way more advanced than Artemis Fowl.

Very YES! I even read the fanfiction...

Other than that I love satire, particularly anything by Terry Pratchett. So far I've read Thud!, The Truth, Going Postal, The Fifth Elephant, and am currently reading Soul Music, all of which are excellent, with The Truth and Going Postal ranking at the very top.

And yes all my books now live on my Handspring Visor Neo for easy access, although I am considering a PRS-505 for future use, pending further testing of the screen materials' longevity.

Ah, ok, I just wasn't sure. Tom Clancy stuff will be ok for you, then. Michael Crichton is good, too. I don't know what my reading level is now, two years ago it was so high I couldn't really find any books my level, I'm guessing I'm about college level right now (I'm in 11th grade). Not really uncommon to be at least a grade above your reading level, I don't know where they tested to get such low averages.

I know, according to the school i have a large vocabulary and a good reading level but to tell the truth I think what I'm at should be the average for my grade because according to them I have always been a few grades above.

Umm.... I`ve only completly read three books in my lifetime (sad i know) Michael Crichton`s Jurrasic Park (like 10 times better than the 1st movie IMO.) And 2 Hairy pothead books.

And read a bunch of books half-way through and was never really finished.

1 I`m about to start reading again, The Lost World by Michael Crichton (Which has to be my favorite author ATM)

Off topic but my 2 favorite movies of all time.

Jurrasic Park (first one, but the 2nd was good and the 3rd was alright but had almost NOTHING to do with the first 2 movies)
and Independance Day ("Now thats what I call a close encounter." lol)

Cats eye was a good science fiction book, many many years ago. I'm not sure how it compares not. It's about humanoid aliens who are feared and supressed by human because they have tele-**** abilities. Some have telekinetic, telepathic, etc. abilities.
Hey, sup?
