I decided not to use the Lego idea because of limit to my budget. So here is my progress picture. I need a hinge for my screen and a battery pack 7.2 volts. then I'm done. I will do multi view later top, bottom, rear, front, side and side.

Ok, as you know how I setup my portable from the previous post I would like to know should I get a 7.2 volt or 8.4 volt battery pack?

I ask this because I fear that the 8.4 volt when full charged will go over 9v

I ask this because I fear that the 7.2 volt will drop below 7v when half way through discharging or close to that.

My portable requires at least 7v b/c of n64 mobo and no higher than 9v because psone screens mobo will fry.

I am still looking into the battery question. Any responses?

Final Words: I think I did really well with planning and executing all aspects of my portable.I stress this is not a hand held but does still qualify as a portable. I do have the ability to make it a hand held but prefer to use the n64 controller, which allows for easier mutil-play.I like to give a thanks to all of you for your help in my project. I'm sure that I have read at least one beneficial piece of information from all of you .Any questions please post it here.(Ps: I hope I am grammatically correct when calling some of you who deserve to be called whorish grammatical bastards.)

I bid thee farewell.(I can be reached if urgently needed at :viksmart@cheerful.com)

A new day is upon us.........

I'm not really sure whats on my agenda as of late but I finished according to my plans. My goal was to finish before thanksgiving thus giving me one week to cram for the SAT, which I will be taking on the 1st of "gift month". Not to say that I have not been studying, but I want to take a deeper seriousness into taking the test and deciding my future....

DO NOT READ ON !!!!!!!For Your Own Safety And Others!!!Mindless Dribble Yonder....

My bro and I will be trying to break(test the console to it's limits=24/7 64 gameathon  ) the console .If the said console survives this horrible trip into the grubby hands of a nerdy college guy and me his brother then I will do some minor facial work and offer it up to the highest bidder. BTW, if by some chance my brother would claim it as his own it will be forfeited to him as of "giftmas".

I'm not trying to hunt people down to sell it or use this as a guise(meaning this is probably the last I will speak of this). Most likely I am telling you right now :!: I wont sell it :!:. But to humor you:

Oh please - we whore out our portables all the time here! But do us a favor and don't advertise unless you really do mean to sell it.

Enjoy your N64 binge - it's what I've done each time I've finished a portable. I've been hammering away at Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past recently :D
