New Truck
I just bought a 1994 ford ranger XLT Splash. I think it was a great buy.
Only 50,000 miles. Its a greenish color and has very few problems with it. One of them is the tailgate is a little rusted but I figure a new tailgate from the junk yard some time soon.
I only paid 1900 US Dollars. I will post pics tomorrow.
What kind of vehicles does everyone (that can drive) drive?

I drive a Red 99' Jeep Wrangler 4.0L I6.
130,000 miles and still chugging.
Only thing I had to replace was the alternator and that was several thousand miles over due.
Just take care of your truck and it will last forever.
Make sure to get your shocks and breaks checked before you do any serious driving.

It horrifies me how 15 year olds can drive in America. It scares the hell out of me. It truly does.
Over here, you can start driving at 16, and have full driving privileges as early as 17. And even that seems really young to me. I know I wouldn't trust me on the roads. As a side note, driving school this weekend! I've put it off long enough! I'll be on the roads unsupervised in a month!

I'd really like a big diesel pickup truck. When it's hot out, I just put a big tarp in the back, fill it with water, and I got a swimming pool
.
Right now I have a '99 Mazda 626. It was only $1200 because of some dents in a door and fender. It has over 267,000 miles and the only problem is the fan belt sometimes squeaks when I just turn it on.
I got my license this summer and bought my first car the next week
. It was an awesome '84 diesel VW rabbit but I had to sell it because it was pretty much made of rust

In Utah, you can get your permit at 15, but you need to have a parent or other responsible 21+ year old in the passenger seat. Then you can get your license at 16, but you need to have had your permit 6 months, have passed drivers ed, and driven with your parents for 40 hours (which I didn't to, don't think I've even done 40 hours now). I've had my license about a month and a half now (I'm 16.5).Kurt_ wrote:It horrifies me how 15 year olds can drive in America. It scares the hell out of me. It truly does.
I drive a white 1993 Ford Explorer. Its my parents', so I have to be nice to it. I think it has about 180,000 miles on it, engine has 80,000. The paint looks like crap, but that just means it can be taken more places offroad without worrying. It cost $1300, brakes need work (front rotors are warped, shakes when you stop sometimes), a hole in the muffler and somewhere else in the exhaust, needs a new fuel pump, the ac/heater fan hardly blows at all (windshield is defrosted by the time i get to school
