Languages in which I have written at some point written something substantial:

C
C++
Matlab
Java
Python
BASIC/qbasic
Fortran90
php
Assembly for x86 architecture

If you include hardware description languages, then VHDL.
(Do I get extra points for designing and implementing a processor on an FPGA and then writing assembly for it?)

I also learned a little TurboPascal several years ago, but I never really did anything with it.

...Dude... VHDL?! PLEASE HELP US! :D

Seriously, PM me and/or post in that thread if you're interested. I hear the source is pretty simple, but I don't know anything about VHDL or FPGAs... whereas you certainly sound like you have an idea and a half. It would be great if you could help us out.

Anyway, I know HTML is just a mark-up language and CSS is hardly anything at all, but I'm including all forms of code... even if it is BBCode...

I always click on the buttons in BBcode. If I don't, the box wants to add ending tags after already existing ones when I press submit. Is there something that can fix this?
PM me for DS friend codes. PLEASE!

In order of proficiency, the top being the best -

Years of experience/Language:
7 VB versions 1-6
4 C (mips/x86/risc)
3 Java
4 ASP
1 PHP
2 Assembly (risc)
0 VHDL

And I'm sure there are a number of scripting languages that I learned enough of to muck around in. Of all I know I'm most happy with C.

After. .NET is a programming line where every language (VB.NET, C#, J#) is converted down to the same codebase and then to assembly. Thus the reason users need .NET framwork.

Looks like I'm the forums idiot with my lack of knowledge of anything except HTML. BTW what's up with more people becoming senior members recently?
