...that will run on a 1.7 Ghz computer with 900 MB of RAM running at 266 Mhz, and a 32 MB graphics card that doesn't support directx 9.0c.

Know of any?

Specifically, FPS games. More, weaker enemies are better than Fewer, stronger ones. Like Halo vs. Half-Life. Halo would win.

I have a DX 9.0 card if you want it, just pay shipping and its yours! I ran Half Life 2/Americas Army on it with no problems on min settings!

Find one here

It's a list of a ton of free multiplayer first person shooters. Some have single player too but not all.

I too have Serious Sam...never liked it, though.

The game is not for me, and should be single player, as girls suck at video games, and my girlfriend has 56k.

Ever thought of emulation?

Or are you looking for PC specific games?

Good picks.

Try out Unreal: GOTY, if they still have a demo of that online. We play that game at school (and half life 1) and it's a blast. You can play quite a few different stages, and it even supports LAN play, just from a demo.

Can UT 2004 run on such a low-end computer?

Any others? How about newer ones for me? :P

I think UT2k4 will run on your computer, and the demo is free to download.
