But anyways, the lithiums are probably the best to use if you are careful with them and give it a protection circuit. If your afraid of lithiums (like me) then those RC batteries would probably work too.

I know the bottom left batteries are the same the L64 uses. On the development page he said they have a built in protection circuit.

I think you should use the Li-ions the L64 used too. They are tested and approved, and you don't need to worry about them exploding either!

You should know how forums work if you come in with a post like "how du i mak gba play halo?????!!??" people aren't going to take you seriously, you dont come into a forum posting a paper model saying its going to be the best n64 portable evar even if it's just a joke because we dont know. You have to except we get plenty of retarted people here so you can never tell if someone's joking unless they've been here long enough for you to know if they actually are retarted or not. You have screens and N64s so I'm pretty sure your serious about a portable right now but posting pictures of the screens or your tools is dumb unless you have a questiong about them like you did with the batteries.

ButtonMasher, I actually like your mock up, it looks nice (primary colours work well), don't like the joystick though! My only concerns are the thickness of the handholds for the case, as per my previous post. It is great you have access to vaccum forming, that will help you.

The only reason I even go to AcidMods is to keep people from needlessly killing their PSPs in a quest to put lights in it, but not having a clue. I swear half of their "beta testers" and that don't even know one end of a soldering iron from the other.

Alkalines=no. You will waste so much money on batteries. Those RC batteries are good, they're rechargeable and they have far more power than alkalines.
