your audio will not work like that and i do believe that you need the third board still

but I thought rgb didn't require anything else?

and can't you get that right off the snes portion?

you will 100% definitely need more for the audio

not sure about the power, I just used the third board for that, and video you may be right. I though that something was still needed on the third board for rgb even, but some encoder dealy (I think) could be bypassed on the third board to easily get rgb

it's not like you can copulate it up if you wire the video wrong, give it a shot wiring just the video up and fill us in :)

but can't you pull rgb right off the snes portion?
and what I was going to do for the power was have it leach off the 7805 regulator located inside the psone screen

I guess what I'm trying to say is, is there anyway to get rid of all the other boards?

I decided to be unlazy and read the thread a bit. from what grahf said you should be able to just pull rgb and power looks like it will be fine, audio is really the only thing you need to change

I wish my screen took rgb

I see another problem. I don't know why this part hasn't been added to a sticky yet (or has it?). You need +5V to Pin 12 on the PSOne screen (which I'm assuming you're using) for RGB to work.

Also, RGB requires C Sync to be hooked up as well.

And where is the audio? I don't even see it! Of course it won't work like that! :P (Did you take it off?)

With all the audio problems the PSone screen has when trying to hook it up (all the different places and issues etc.) [for me at least] if you don't get it on the first couple tries, and can afford the space, I recommend making/buying a small 1-2W amp. The Speakers can handle it, and it's still loud to hear mid-lunch in the cafeteria.

How did you have your audio hooked up?
Like this?
