Things to do on a rainy day

Post by Absco »

It's been raining here for three days. What do you guys normally do on a rainy day? I have no car, my bike has a flat, and my tv is out.

how's a rainy day different from a normal day? Bars have roofs, don't they?

like any of us are regularly seen outside anyway.

get an old computer and put MAME and some roms on it. get a front end. I think you can figure out the rest.

I could never get that damn MAME working for me. When i tried to play a ROM the whole screen would just turn black.

Thats untrue, I have to work outside since I live in the desert, where jumping off a cliff would be more sane than having a cool basement :(

what I do on rainy days is play video games  whether it be my SNES boy, or my N64, or trying to get my NES to work

First off I have to say lucky!. But where you live depends on what you should do. I live in Gilbert, Arizona,(half hour away from Phoenix) where it rains about 2 times a year  So if it rains I almost always go outside in the rain.

Like the others have said, plug in your soldering iron and get to work :P

I live in Tucson, about 2 hours away from phoenix , where it is currently in monsoon season. makes it hard as hell to paint because of all the frequent raining...   (yeah thats right, 3 smilies) but I always go outside barefoot when it rains, because in my house it's so hot. :D
