My mom saw it at a garage sale and told me and I got it. Works and is in good condition.

yeah, I never liked double dragon much, but if it's a full cabinet that's a great deal!
I found an old arcade cabinet in the garbage once, but it was gone when I came back to pick it up

Are you gonna MAME it or keep it the way it is? If you're gonna MAME it I might (just might) have a compaq minitower (200MHz) I could maybe give you if you have a harddrive and some RAM for it.

Oh yeah, you lucky kid, why can't I get an arcade?

I got it for $125.00. I'm probably going to keep it how it is. I am going to fix up some stuff on it like new T molding and fixing some of the edges. I'll post some pics l8r today.

Nice, $125 that's not bad. I don't suppose it's a JAMMA board is it?

IF it was a jamma board that would be one of the best deals I've ever seen!

If you want Popular Science had a small artical about moding the controlls, installing a computer and running Mame knoppix (or something like it) that runs emulations.

Though I personally leave it be as its value may go up, and a good classic never dies. cough*pitfall*cough

Congrats thats a good deal

It's good that its a Jamma harness as u can use other boards or even the PC running mame (there are cards u can buy to slot into the jamma rig)

if u need some help or advice im here to ask i already have 3 cabinet 1 being a very rare game the first car scrolling game ever made by taito :D

I go to www.arcadecontrols.com forums now n then (mostly browse) and they can help u if you get stuck or give u links to cheap parts in your area.

Goodluck :)

EEK!!
I was thinking of making my own jamma arcade too, but then I thought I might just run that mame version of linux instead, or better yet, both at the same time

You already tore the thing apart, or did it come with some of the boards outside the case?

Damn that case front looks awsome, wish I could make a cabni like that for myself.
