cool! I don't want to do it on my laptop, since my iBook is slow enough, but i'll sneak it into my dad's work laptop that he never uses...

My computer is slow too, and I didn't notice any speed decrease when using it. It just uses the processing power you aren't using, so if you're using a web browser and its using 20% of you're cpu's power, f@h will use the remaining 80%. So only games that push your system should be affected, if anything (I always closed it when playing games, just in case).Master of Portables wrote:cool! For some reason my computer hates small wu's, it wouldn't get them, but I think its getting a big one now that I allowed it to again...

But Vskid, my computer lags when it runs GIMP! thats madness I tell you, MADNESS! Anyway, where do I download the program? is it on their site? (and this site is lagging so much on my laptop for some reason...)

Yeah, F@H is downloadable on their site.
Has anyone had trouble sending results? I've had a WU done since this morning, and it hasn't been able to send it. I haven't had this problem before. I tried disabling my firewall for a bit, but that didn't help. Any ideas?

I've had the opposite problem, I tried to download to download a big WU last night, got on today and it wasn't done, so I made it so that it only downloaded small WUs, but it still hasn't finished (or even started?) and that was 6 hours ago.lifeisbetterwithketchup wrote:Has anyone had trouble sending results?
