Gamecube Video Problem!

Post by soxinrevin »

Ok, so i decided to forget the audio but now for some reason the video comes out almost like static, you can see the gc startup barely.

No wires touching to cause distortion that I see. and all the voltages are right (I checked with my multimeter, and it is running off wall power)

HOw do I fix it???

Check all of your connections and look for stray solder.

Is the solder connecting all the points correctly and fully?
Are the wires undamaged?
Is your screen undamaged (whatever it is LCD, etc.)?

I just found out that a PCB is a four layer board. The first two layers are the green parts, the third is in between that, and a fourth layer (possibly fifth) is on the top of the green board to protect other components. Check all the way around your boards to see if there are any cracks, missing segments, tears, or peels.
