Holy habadasher! Well, after me f-in up my 7 year old comp, my dad surprised me with a laptop. I found the model on Newegg, the one being this: Cool Laptop
Well, I just want to know, is this a good deal and a good comp.
And I also need help.
I need like a step by step guide to put two OS's on it. I know there's a previous post on it, but I didn't get a 'specific' answer. I have Vista Ultimate and XP Pro. So just gotta know what to install and when, and I really need a percentage of error, like the chance of me ROYALLY F UP. So I need some help that's it. And also, what's a good virus scanner and security suite to put on this new bad thing.

I personally wouldn't pay that kind of money for a laptop like that. I would say take a look here and see if you like any of them.
As for setting up a dual boot.
1. First back-up the OS (just in case)
2. If the Install CD has a partitioner that will move data to make a second partition use it.
2.1. If it doesn't download a bootable gparted iso and burn to a CD (it's 50MB), boot it and adjust the hard drive sizes to what you want
3. Install the OS, making sure that if you have 2GB a swap is unnecessary, if you have 1GB make a 1GB swap just to be safe.
4. Remove install disc and reboot.
5. Install complete.

I am a geek.
I made a guide somewhere on how to dual boot Pc-BSD and Windows XP... I'll go find it....you can replace with your preferred OSes also.
EDIT EDIT (removed old guide after i looked at what Oses you are using):
1. Download this Super Fdisk 1.0 http://www.easeus.com/download.htm It is what we are going to use to partition the drive.
2. Burn the Fdisk to a disk after going through the install setup.
3. Now put in the Fdisk and reboot.
4. Select your harddrive and right-click to create new partition. I was using a 200GB harddrive so I gave the partition 30GB (30720 MB) and called it XP.
5. Install XP to your new partition.
6. Install Vista to the other one.
7. when you reboot, you will have the vista boot screen with the options "previous version of windows" (XP) and Vista.
NOTE: Must do XP first!
