Ok sorry i was kinda mean to you and about the tape thing sorry I've just seen noobs do stupid things and you have never shown your talent so ya(I'm not calling you a noob).

Yo man, I made one of these yesterday and you put the wrong USB part onto the end of it. You need to put a female usb cable onto it, not the male as you have done. You cannot connect a PC to XBOX via this method. The only other ways I can think of are:

1: Using a USB flash drive, coupled with the Splinter Cell/007 Game exploit to install linux and from there to transfare files ovre ethernet or...

2: Getting a mod chip.

*shrugs* Hope thats of some help, in short, you cannot connect your PC to XBOX this way.

They're aren't directly. The XBOX's controller ports are all USB ports, and can be used to connect to the Harddrive while using linux.
