This idea I will give for free, it might sound silly but what the Ben Heck...
Ok so you could design a case possibly some sort of cub and have a consoe on each side of the cube so on one face for example you could have a ps2 lid and game ports etc with the system on the inside wall and the same for an Xbox 1 on another side. However, two or three faces should be left free for power cables and such, a 'base'/'stand on floor' face and you could put a flip out lcd on the top face of the unit. I have a clear idea of what this could look like and I could draw a sketch if need be but this would be an interesting project to see in the flesh. I cannot do the portable/ case making junk...
An actual Game cube?

I can't cut the portable junk, I am not worthy!!!
And, as I waited for the PS3 I cracked a whole year before it came out and got a Xbox 360, it was the wiser choice.

Hey, you could put it on a rotating base and just spin it to the face you need! Sure it would be a big box, but hey it's summer and nothing says summer like a fun pointless project! After all, isn't that the whole idea behind this forum?
Is it okay if I steal your quote? Heh heh...

boogers :D
Sounds cool. But I dont think the swivel feature would be very useful with all of the cords plugged into the back. Unless you can somehow route all of the wires to the base, with some slack so that it can rotate 90 Degrees each way.
