I'm trying to think of a good way to do this. Should I try to fetch the answers from a site like ClubLive2.0 did? It's somewhat unreliable and slow, so I'm not too sure. Any suggestions?
I have a file with picture solutions to almost every puzzle...
Then again, it's in this topic too...
Anyone get their Vista yet? I almost have enough, started playing yesterday. I'm not sure if I'll get the Vista though, might get something else (thought I do like some of your guys' reselling idea )
I was doing cross wires new puzzles with the bot and after about an hour I got a communication error. Now I get the error when ever i try to play a game. Anyone else getting this?

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

totokan wrote:Sky, i suggest you don't use the cheat engine. Although a lot faster, Microsoft loses the searches that happen when you check an answer. Thus, they lose money. Ultimately, the site would be shut down, as Microsoft would lose any incentives they have to continue. Bots, although cheating, allow microsoft more revenue than manually doing it, because they almost always check more than the maximum amount of answers (Ala General guy's chickbot, the crosswire bot).
I recommend removing that bot, as it will cause trouble.
Meh, I think a lot of us are using the Greasemonkey script that doesn't even load the search iframe, so I see no harm if people are already using that.
Doesn't matter. Using the normal bots, the search is still sent for, called by the flash app. It just isn't displayed on the user end, the page still gets a hit. Using the Cheat Engine, you're screwing MS over, leading to the site getting taken down faster.
This is weak as hell, I ordered Vista, but the site froze on "processing order", so after several minutes I went to my account page, and saw the tickets were gone, but no order history for Vista.
Now I've ordered the wireless headset with the same account, and it went through fine.
It's ok that happened to me earlier today just email them @ livesearchclub@incentivelogic.com and tell them that you got to the processing screen and it failed and tell them it took your tickets. They will give them back to you. They never responded to the email but gave my points back and oddly increased my lifetime points by 6,000 also .
Regards and if that doesn't work email microsoft directly. (I believe their email address is in the help section of the site)
Crosswire is back up, and it looks like the bot no longer works. Looks like they are wising up. Presumably when Chicktionary comes back it will be patched too.
