Controller Problem
I plugged a controller port and a controller into my NESp to get past the game select screen on Super Mario/Duck Hunt so i could make sure the sound was working and the controller doesn't work. I tried 4 different controllers and they all kept switching between Mario and Duck Hunt over and over by themselves. No matter what button i pressed it just kept doing this until i turned it off. Anyone know why this is happening? I tried all the controllers on my other NES and they work fine. Did i fry something on the NES board? If i did, then what did i fry?

Something similar happened with my SNES. I forget the exact problem, but it occured when either two wires were shorted, or (more likely) when one wire was disconnected, or (still likely) when two wires were swapped. In Super Mario World, it would skip past everything right to the selected file, where you have to push a button (button = ABXY).
Hey, sup?
