anyway, thanks for the compliment, CTF I had my friends dad, which he is very good at wood working, cut the mold out of wood, but I had to sand it... which is like 75% of the work put into the finished product.

do you thing that the controller above the 1st party controller could be hacked to use a gcn joystick(or in other words, do you think it uses pots?) 
I need to know this because I might possibly buy this off ebay...

Anyways, if I had to take a guess, I'd say yes. If it does have a potentiometer in there, which it probably does, then you'll probably be able to use a GC joystick with it. The only real way to test it out is to crack the sucker open and start looking around!

ok, i was thinking that it did, but i just noticed that it comes with an rf adapter, so I don't get to add another composite hookup to my abnormally large collection of them.
oh well, it comes with games too, so its a steal

Is it still possible to get free DC to DC converters from TI? on the product page thing when I click the "purchase samples" link, all that happens is that the page scrolls down a bit.

but the description says it needs a resistor to adjust output voltage, so what resistor do I need to get?

just have to say my dc to dc converter came this morning, so yay(and it was free) i'm in the process of getting an n64 from ebay, but I picked one out so I'll get it soon enough...
