Hey, I just won a Xbox 360 from ebay for about $243 (Including shipping)
The auction says "Refurbished". I know what refurbished means, like its been either fixed people, or a customer opened the packaging and returned the game console, or it broke but it got fixed by microsoft, or someone at the store opened it. Ect ect.
The auction that I bought it from tells me that, its been tested multiple times to work and such. Should I be cautious when I get the 360? Like, I dont know which kind of reburished it is. If it broke down before, but it got refurbished, does that make it liable to break down again?
I'm just worried.
Refurbished woes.

who refurbished it? Generally if they don't say, (for example microsoft or factory refurbished) then it was refurbished by 'just some guy who ebayed it'
not to worry you, but I've been noticing, even on a lot of manufacturer refurbs these days, when something goes seriously wrong, the extent of testing and repair is just to plug it in and make sure it starts up.
however since you didn't mention who did the work, I'm guessing somebody bought a broken xbox, fixed what he thought was wrong and resold it.
