Dcp buttons
I have a question for all the dcp creators. i was just wondering wat buttons you all used and where i can get them im expecting to not cut the pcb board and just solder wires to the button slots. But i also want them to look and feel like the original dreamcast buttons. Thanks Raab

Contacts. You'll have to either hack up a simular pad (any digital pad should work, i.e. a NES pad), or etch your own PCB with contact traces. Basically the little black dot on the bottom of the rubber thing completes the circuit between the two contacts.
The triggers are a bit harder, as they use hall effect sensors. Your best bet would be to desolder the sensors on the pad and mount them where the triggers will go. Getting them placed correctly will be a challenge.
Have you considered getting a more hacking friendly pad? There are pads that you'd only need to extend some wiring to split the controller, and the triggers use POTs and are easily relocatable as well. I can only remember the Quantum Fighter pad, but there is another more hackable.
