well..... i got a little sidetracked on the case by a camping trip... oh joy, and my dad wasn't up to "supervising" me with the vac forming today... hey summers only 4 weeks away... so i can actually do stuff! and i have found out why my n64 blew without smoke... i wired the cart slot from the back as opposed from the front... D'oh, and that seems to have fried it... along with my power supply. :(

Ahrr, that sucks. Just think of how awesome it'll be when it's done.

When you said "summers only 4 weeks away", I was like, what is he talking about?, it's like--woah. Sweet, summer's soon. :D.

well, i got bad news, i got back from the doctor a little while ago, and my pinky is fractured :( , so now it would be almost impossible to do anything wearing this splint, so my portable is semi delayed for about 3 weeks. if I manage to get anything done, ill still post it here though

It's been almost another month and still the case that was suppose to be done like 2 months ago is still nowhere in sight and still no good pics. Thanks for the cart slot relocation pics but what happened to the in-depth guide you were suppose to be doing. Just wondering if we will ever see the wonderful case thyat you designed (BTW nice mold). :?

Don't worry, the "in depth" guide is still going on, just nothing really has happened that I need to put down in it.

ok people, I'll tell you the story from two months ago...

way back (2 months ago ;) ) I had finally got my plastic and started to vacuum form, but of course everything went wrong. My vac forming table sucked, the plastic got to overheated from the heat gun etc. Then, as I was waiting for the plastic to come in, guess what, My pinky had to fracture, and My Mom didn't want me to vac form with a broken pinky, so 1 whole month down the tube... Next, when my pinky was revived , it was may, and I had way to much homework, and even when I had free time, my Mom insisted i wait until school is out. finally telling from today when nothing is happening, I attempted and failed yet again at vac forming the ******* case.

There happy? the whole explanation of why my case is not even close to being finished in a nutshell!(and of course, My N64 fried so its back to square 1.5!)

Anyway, I'm getting tired of trying to make this stupid vacuum forming table of mine work, so I would like to ask if anyone would be kind enough to vacuum from my case if I sent them the mold. i could pay for the plastic and labor of it.

Nice! Though you definitely lose kudos points for getting Turbo, the vac forming god, to do your work for you, you obviously did an excellent job on the mold to have it turn out so perfect. Kinda reminds me of the GBA.
