You can always log in to your home computer remotely and then log from there onto the internet.

Setting up a home proxy is the best way. At least until they block your IP, if static. zroxi.com seems to be working well for me. Fast too.

IIRC, squid is an easy to setup proxy, I used it for about a year at school because their filters actually blocked class material that I needed to access
