Based on time released, I'd say Nomad was a great piece of work.
In terms of modern day portables, I say that EZ Mini has the potential to be a real monster. Available only in China.

I've had a DS for a couple of weeks now and I really like it. I only wish some of my games used the screen MORE.
Now that there's been a price drop on the PSP (like a week after I finally bought a DS, go figure) I'm going to do a trade in on a bunch of stuff I never play (games that came extra with stuff I bought off eBay) and get myself a used one. I've been scouring AcidMods.com for anything and everything related to modding a PSP and I'm looking forward to doing it. I think it'll be fun. I can't wait to play me some Ratchet and Clank and Ace Combat (two of my fave's from PS2).
