I dont think so.
Sure he's making it more evedent to everyone about how to do it to older systems and things like that. But revolutionize, I think thats still left to the people at Nintedo and other companies that invest the money and time into making gaming something simple fast and easy. The closest thing to that is when Ben/anyone else finishes the new pcb design for the Atari making it smaller then ever.

Eh, I'm sure it's been in the pipeline for ages now. Ben's not the only person who's made comments on a "Playstation Portable". Besides, there's only so many ways to even create a product. I don't think Ben's PSP mockup looks all that like the real PSP; it has a screen, it has the controls in the regular orientation, but that's a given. I think it's possible, though, that Ben has had some effect on portables in the long run...
And he couldn't copyright the PSP, since it's basically an infringment on the use of Playstation, especially since it's a Playstation itself. Sony has rights on it for the use of the Playstation. Besides, Sony wouldn't make a PS2P, they'd make a PSP2. The PSP isn't based off the Playstation hardware, so why would they make a Playstation 2 Portable, rather than a Playstation Portable 2?

I haven't been in this fight, nor any other. I'm not labled as anything (except for having good taste in comics), nor do I have seniority in anything. I'm scot-free! So with such a clean slate, let us just out right throw the damn thing in the mud...
I can't see any subsantial proof that it was most certainly Ben who sparked so much as a candle for any video gameing company. Not that this is a good thing, mind you. They could take some advice, he obviously has some pure, unbiased light to shine on this subject. But we would be suposing way too much to say that anyone from Sony found his site, read his work, stole his idea, and sold it to the executives. It might have happened, but a little more evidence would be needed other than "they stole PSp".If they were to make a portable, what else would they call it? PSCarry-around-with-you? I think it would be wise to call it a coinsidence, and leave it at that for now...
I'm never gonna be able to wash this stupid slate...
