Portable on ebay?

I was wondering, has anybody really sold portables on ebay? Is it legal?

I am about to put a finish coat on my portable pstwo and paint it and add the goodies. Just wondering if I should be tayloring it to my needs, or to a general consumer if I do sell it on ebay...

Yes, portables have occasionally been sold on eBay, and yes, it is legal to do so.

Of course it is legal. Why wouldn't it be? Also, you may get more money if you sell it on here.
