The guy is Sam Kekovich, a former VFL* (now AFL**) player who is known for being brash, politically incorrect and very Australian.
He intends not to annoy vegetarians, said that only he should be embarrassed by this commercial, this caused huge controversy

Yeah my english teacher told me about Austrailian day. you know what Austrailia means? Something to do with south. Aurora Boreialis is like, Aurora the greek? goddess of dawn i think, and Boreialis[sp] is North Austrailia means south something.

I'm A vegitarian! and I am not a pot-smoking hippie! How rude! I really dig that rant, but I think that the generalization of vegitarians is stupid. I bet cennar isn't a vegitarian, and he smokes like a chimney! I guess it doesn't matter since Im not australian...

yeah every once and a wile i need protien i cant get in peanuts and soy, so i order a ham and pepperoni pizza.. and when i lived with my real father i ate nothing but caraboo (like rain deer, not just like is!)

Sorry, I consider myself throughly proved wrong...I guess my example of pot-smoking vegitarians doesn't work now that I know that Cennar actually IS a vegitairan...
