LED Mod gbc screen?

would it be possible to LED mod a gbc screen and make it back-lit, i know i can leech power off the ext ports, but is there any way of removing the metal and foam fabric stuff off the back of the lcd screen, and how many white LEDs would i need? I know not more than 2.

No. You can't see anything on a GBC screen when you backlight it. (You see clear, or clear. No picture.)

you need to front light it. its possible, look fo the GBA Afterburner Kit. http://www.goldenshop.com.hk/AI-trad/gba/backlit.htm

It might be useable on the GBC, but I wouldnt count on it. I have one of thse in my GBA, its half decent... I dont see of any way it can fit in the GBC. If you want a low-down on how it works let me know, ill explain.
