In my quest to make the 32x compatible with the Genesis 3, I have found a way to make Virtua Racing work. Not the best game, but i'm sure someone might be interested in this.

Re: Genesis 3 and Virtua Racing Compatibility fix
I wonder if this is what was causing much of the Genesis 3's incompatibilities? Well nice information, that would come in handy for anyone making a Nomad with a G3 rather then a Radica.robivy64 wrote:In my quest to make the 32x compatible with the Genesis 3, I have found a way to make Virtua Racing work. I am a geek.
The 315-5960 ASIC in the Genesis 3 was also used in some of the later Genesis model 2s, so I knew it had to output both frequencies since VR works with those.
The Radica has a Genesis-on-a-chip that essentially plays like a bad emulator IMO, so if I were making a custom Nomad, I would certainly lean towards one of these.

You have any pictures of the mod? I'm looking to buy a Genesis 3, and Virtua Racing is one of my all-time favorites on the Genesis(every platform it was released on, really), but since it doesn't work without some kind of mod, I was out of luck. On top of that, I can't access the Underground Console Mods forums for some reason(says they're down). If you can post pictures and a diagram of your mod, it'd be greatly appreciated.
